How do I connect to FTP
You can connect to our FTP server using FTP client of your will.If you don't have FTP client you can use our WebFTP client (webftp.vas-hosting.cz). You need your username and password in order to succesfully log in.
As a server address use ftp.your-domain.cz . User name and password can be found in welcome email or can be set up in Customer Center.
Username can be found in Client section.Password is also set there. Your password isn't stored anywhere because of security reasons,if you forget your password you have to change it.
We recommend using FTP client, but it is possible to connect using standard web browser.As a adress enter ftp://username:password@ftp.your-domain.com . Microsoft Windows are able to work with your FTP account as it is normal directory on your local PC. If you can't connect from your computer or you're not on your PC use WebFTP application located on address http://webftp.vas-hosting.cz.
How do I find out my user name and password
User name of all your accounts are located in relevant section of our Customer Centre.Password are crypted because of security reasons so if you forget it you'll have to reset it in account settings.
Setting up your FTP client
In your clients configuration chooose 21 as FTP server port. Our FTP server supports either active or passive FTP connection.If you're not able to use active connection, try passive.
Changing password for FTP access
After logging in Customer Center go to My Services.Choose FTP there. Choose the account you want to change password on and click change password button.Next page has one field in which you write your new password.Confirm your change then..
